Ivan brings over fifteen years experience in mergers and acquisitions working at leading global investment banking firms. Mr. Hsu's experience includes: sell-side and buy-side M&A, mergers, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts (LBOs), debt financings, growth equity raises, and fund raising.
Mr. Hsu was an investment banker with J.P. Morgan's M&A advisory group covering: aerospace, consumer products, retail and metal sector clients.
Ivan has held additional investment banking positions at Goldman Sachs, Deloitte Corporate Finance, Citi Group and Credit Suisse.
Mr. Hsu graduated from Duke University in engineering and economics and received his M.B.A. from the Anderson Business School at UCLA.
Eric brings over twenty years experience in private equity and leveraged finance including ten years with Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. At Cerberus private equity group, Eric invested in distressed bank debt and high yield bonds.
Eric also worked at the Blackstone Group in the private equity and M&A advisory areas. Blackstone specializes in private equity, credit and hedge fund investment strategies. As of 2018, Blackstone had $457 billion under management.
Eric has advised and evaluated investment opportunities with a number of investment firms including: Marlin Equity Partners, New Evolution Ventures, and Steel Partners.
Mr. Epstein graduated from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania and received his M.B.A. from the Anderson Business School at UCLA.
Chris brings over thirty years experience in corporate financing; private equity, buy/sell transactions, originating, structuring, executing, and managing leveraged finance transactions; including senior & mezzanine debt financing , syndicated loans, subordinated debt, and advisory services for middle market companies.
Chris was formerly a Managing Director at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors a $26 billion hedge fund and was primarily responsible for sourcing transactions for the Middle Market Credit and Growth Private Equity strategies.
Chris was involved in the acquisition of Security Pacific Bank by Bank of America in 1992 and left the bank to be a founding partner of U.S. Capital Partners.
Mr. Higgins graduated with a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California.
Hal brings over twenty five years experience in: middle market companies, strategic consulting, investment banking and international Fortune 500 environments. During his career his clients have included several of the largest U.S. & international publicly traded & privately owned corporations as well as second and third generation family owned businesses.
Hal has extensive experience in; agriculture, food & beverage, consumer products, and manufacturing companies. Hal was responsible for one of the largest food agriculture transactions in the central valley.
Hal has advised, executed and negotiated over 40+ advisory consulting engagements representing several billion dollars in transaction value. Mr. Berger’s investment banking career evolved from his experience as an entrepreneur building startup ventures and selling the companies to private equity funds & public companies.
Mr. Berger graduated with a B.S. in business from Penn
State University Business school and attended Harvard Business School private equity program.
Steve is a real estate private equity professional specializing in the development and financing of sustainable communities in the U.S., Mexico, Latin and Central America and Africa .
Mr. Zubkoff has advised and financed several billion dollars in real estate and start up technology company transactions. Projects include: Green Tech Innovator, Green Sandwich Technologies, Porteon Electric Vehicles, Habitat for Humanity, Jimmy Carter Work Project and Loreto Bay Resorts.
Mr. Zubkoff graduated with a B.S. in Economics from Dartmouth University.
Walt brings over twenty four years experience in; private equity investments, originating, structuring, executing, and managing leveraged finance transactions; including senior & mezzanine debt financing and equity co-investments for middle market private equity sponsors, syndicating $10 million to $150 million senior debt financing for middle market leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and leveraged ESOPs.
